Hi there, Thank you for reaching out and I apologize that you are running into issues with SQL Prompt. As of version 10.3 of
SQL Prompt, SSMS versions 18.4 and below are no longer supported because
they use RegSvrEnum 15.0.18206.0 while SSMS 18.5 and later use
16.100.0.0. Since you are on v18.11.1, you would need to use a version of SQL Prompt above 10.3. Thank you! David Kim Product Support Engineer

Hi there, Thank you for reaching out and I apologize that you are running into issues with SQL Prompt. The development team has confirmed this to be a bug. However, because of their current workload they are not able to work on a fix for it.
I apologize for the inconvenience, but if you have any other questions feel free to reach out! Thank you!

Hi Rick, Thank you for waiting. Can you try closing SSMS and SQL Prompt, renaming the SavedTabs.db to something else then reopening SSMS and SQL Prompt. This
should recreate your SavedTabs.db and hopefully fix the issue. However,
you will not have access to your previous tab history. If the above does not work, can you send the newly created SavedTabs.db file? Thank you!
Kind regards,

Hi there, From this error message:
2022-03-04 13:49:15,974 [ 1] ERROR RedGate.SqlMonitor.Common.Utilities.Windows.Certificates.CertificateStore - Access denied.
Internal.Cryptography.CryptoThrowHelper+WindowsCryptographicException: Access denied.
at
Internal.Cryptography.Pal.CertificatePal.FilterPFXStore(ReadOnlySpan`1
rawData, SafePasswordHandle password, PfxCertStoreFlags
pfxCertStoreFlags)
It looks like the app pool identity user for the IIS Site doesn't have
permission to access the certificates needed to communicate with the
base monitor: [image] You
could try a couple things - first try setting the Load User Profile to
be True (seen at the bottom of the image of the Advanced Settings menu
(right click on the application pool and choose Advanced Settings) and
then restart the application pool and site and see if it works. Or
alternatively try changing the Identity user (highlighted in the image
above) to the same user that is running the base monitor service (also
keeping the load user profile set to true). Can you let me know if either of those troubleshooting steps helps?
Thank you!

Hi there, Thank you for reaching out and I apologize that you are running into issues with SQL Prompt. Can you check in this folder C:\User\AppData\Local\Red Gate\SQL Prompt 10\Styles and the Snippets variant for any duplicate files? SQL
prompt requires a UID on these and if one has duplicated it would cause
this issue. Sincerely, David Kim Product Support Engineer

Hi there, I am glad to hear that everything is working now. That is odd that it randomly fixed itself. Updating Windows 10 could have some correlation to fixing the issue, but without any log file errors, there is no way to be sure. Thank you! David Kim Product Support Engineer
