Your desktop and Laptop you may install twice for your own use on both devices. Click here if you wish to read more on how SQL Prompt is licensed! / comments

Hi Rikin, Thanks for your message, sorry you've got this issue. I notice you're not using the latest version of SQL Source Control. Unless there is a reason you have chosen not to upgrade, please could I ask you to download the latest version of SQL Source Control from the Redgate Website? After downloading, you may notice the product is in trial mode. Just enter your serial key via Help > Manage License to put yourself back into licensed mode. / comments

Hi! To remove another Administrator you would need to be an Owner of the license. If your unsure who the Owner of your license is, I'll open a support ticket and we'll help you find out! If you would like to request to become an Owner of the license you can do this following the steps below:Sign in to the Customer Portal > My Products [image] On the Right-hand side click 'Add existing licenses' [image] Enter the serial number for the license they wish to become the owner of > Send [image] An email will now be sent to any pre-existing owners of that license asking them to accept or reject the request. Only one person needs to respond to the request, it doesn't matter which owner this is. As soon as the request has been responded to you will also become owners of the license. In some instances, the existing owner may have left the company or could just be on extended leave. When this is the case, if there are no other pre-existing owners to accept your request, the request will pend for 10 days. After this time it will automatically accept. Any owner can log into the customer portal, go to > My Products > find a license> Manage > Owners and then click Remove next to any owner email address that is no longer relevant. I hope this helps you manage your licenses! / comments

Hi Chad, Yes, on a shared PC, if you install the SQL Prompt plugin it will be for all users. Hopefully, this won't cause too much offence to the other users. It is likely to be visible in their SSMS but they will only be able to activate if they also hold a license like yourself. I hope this helps answer your question! / comments

Hi Nick, Most Redgate tools are licensed per user and in these cases, yes! A single user can activate the licenses on as many of their own devices and for their own use as they need. However some tools are licensed per server, they are SQL Monitor and SQL Backup Pro. In the case of the SQL Toolbelt, where you have both per user license and per server licenses, you will need to purchase additional licenses of the server tools if the number of servers is more than the number of users. Hope that covers it for you! / comments
