We are actually working on updating from 10.1.4. As of this morning the page is working and the link takes me to release notes. It appears everything has resolved now. Cheers, Joe Harkins / comments

Well, it did change the page, but not exactly as expected. Now when I click the link in sqlmonitor I get to the updates page and it is entirely blank. [image] / comments

Applying the vsix install from the marketplace did not resolve the issue. I can see the file in the MSBuild folder referenced above now, but every build still fails. Unlike the originator of this thread, adding the file manually before attempting the vsix install also did not correct the problem. My other team members attempted the vsix install without having attempted any manual corrections and also report local builds remain broken after the upgrade. / comments

@Sergio R We are not yet seeing that version available. This has pretty much stalled my teams work today. Any idea on when it will actually be available to install or is there somewhere we can pull an old version to get things working again? / comments

Hi Robyn and Nigel, The product indicates that it will accept a regex filter to stop certain alerts in the error log. If you go to
Configuration > Alert settings > SQL Server error log entry | All Servers You can choose to exclude by any of the following:
Exclude error log entries by severity matching the following regular expressions
Exclude error log entries by error number matching the following regular expressions
Exclude error log entries by error message matching the following regular expressions
Cheers, Joe / comments

Sorry for the double post. It won't let me delete the duplicate, so here's a fun fact for the day: Most of the construction of a didgeridoo is completed by termites, who hollow out the trunks. / comments

I found my own answer. It appears that if one opens their eyes, there is a "View YAML" button in the edit screen in Azure Devops pipelines. I am unstuck and only mildly embarrassed. Cheers, Joe H. / comments

Hi, I came to report the exact same issue. I am working to get my local teams using the redgate tools, but I am hesitant to advise anyone to install these add-ons at this point due to the monumental frustration and work stoppage it causes using SSMS. Any time a connection becomes unavailable for any reason (no tabs open at all, but the server open in object explorer) SSMS hangs entirely. This is not a VPN (issue is present when a local instance goes offline) or SSMS version (multiple in use/all same behavior) specific issue. I usually just want to go the the offending server in the object explorer and disconnect, but right clicking on the server object causes it to hang even worse. I will then have to sit for ~1-2 minutes waiting for the disconnect option to become selectable. If I get frustrated waiting for this foolishness and click anywhere else on the screen then by the time the SSMS prompt unfreezes my clicks elsewhere have killed the context menu. The only solution is a force quit, making me lose any other open tabs I was working on. The expectation that every developer/admin is going to disconnect and log off of every connection in SSMS every time they pick up their laptop to prevent an add-on from losing its mind is unreasonable. This issue is pretty much a show-stopper in usability for SQL Prompt. I have been advising selective component installs of the toolbelt to get people working, but we had hoped to utilize SQL Prompt alongside the rest of the tools. I will add my voice to the request for a fix here. Thanks, Joe / comments
