Thanks for your help, older version of software did not require access to some of the system tables, I guess current one does, so once I switched id I was using to the one with more access rights, issue was resolved, thanks a lot for your help. / comments

I am running compare between two Oracle db instances. Both dbs are the same version of Oracle. When registering databases, before it even runs compare, I am getting that error when using Red Gate 4.0 of Schema compare 32bit / comments
