In the cloud I have come across GCP Data Loss Prevention and AWS Macie. The idea is that these scan your data sources for things that shouldn't be there whether that is PII data, security keys, sensitive identifiers etc. Is that the sort of thing you are after? These tools can be horrendously expensive so we use them where there really mustn't be sensitive data. / comments

I've recently joined a Snowflake partner implementation partner, Crimson Macaw, so if you need a call, let me know. If you have a list of questions then please feel free to send them across too. Somethings you won't be able to compare such as secure views. Not even Snowflake itself can see the code for those and this does hamper the query optimiser. For that reason the recommendation is to evaluate whether a secure view is actually necessary. / comments

SnowflakeDB?
I know that Flyway can be used with Snowflake.Has Redgate any broader interest in Snowflake beyond that? It's a lovely platform to work with and things like Schema Compare would be a Godsend.
I can vouch for this 100%! I owe much of my career to writing for SSC. / comments

I'd like to know about Redgate's approach to multi OS given that Flyway isn't constrained to Windows and I think it is a Java application. I'm particularly keen to know if Redgate are going to release any of the SQLServer tools on Mac OSx? / comments

I can remember when Redgate first bought SQLServerCentral there was concern over the future of the site. Those fears proved unfounded. Several years on in fact the overarching reaction to Redgate acquiring SQLPass assets are "Thank God"! / comments

I've worked with branches and forks. I have found it is as much about the way in which source control is configured and the processes around it as it is specifically about the branching/forking itself. I'm happy to put some notes together though I suspect you'll learn more from my ignorance than my knowledge. / comments

AWS Babelfish
