went along to the London event yesterday and just wanted to show my appreciation - I thought it was brilliant. you guys must have put a load of work into that! going to type up my notes now [image]
Thanks so much for this feedback Ben, glad you enjoyed it. I didn't get a chance to chat to you yesterday, but I'm sure you chatted with many of the other Redgaters! If you get a chance it would be great if you could complete the feedback form online. I'm looking forward to doing it all again next week in Chicago! / comments

Hi everyone, This week I wrote a blog post as the full speaker line-up for Redgate's SQL in the City Summits are finalised. Thanks to those who have picked this up on social media and shared it, much appreciated! I'm delighted that we have the following FoRGs speaking at the Summits, joining our evangelists, Steve Jones, Grant Fritchey and Kendra Little: Derik Hammer SQLHammer - New York (Panel) BrianRandell - New York & Chicago (Session + Panel)
AlexYates - London (Panel) EstebanFG - Chicago (Session + Panel) bob_walker- Chicago (Session)
BobPusateri - Chicago (Session) Additional external speakers involved: Bob Ward, Microsoft - New York + Chicago (Session) Ronit Regar, Microsoft - London (Session) Simon Sabin, Sabin.io - London (Session) Jim Szubryt, Accenture - Chicago (Panel) Sylan Furness, Co-op Financial Services - Chicago (Panel) I know that some of you have already registered, using your complimentary code "FoRG", and I look forward to seeing you there. If you haven't yet registered, and you're interested in coming along, please get yourself registered as soon as you can. You can also help me to spread the word to senior database professionals in your networks, so that they too can learn from DevOps and Data Platform experts and network with their peers. Just share the code "FoRGRefer" with your contacts to enable them access to register. Thanks all [image]

More details about our SQL in the City Summits can now be found on the event pages on the Redgate Hub:
www.red-gate.com/hub/events/redgate-events/sqlinthecity-summit/ As FoRGs I'd like to invite you to register for our London, New York or Chicago Summits for free, using the code 'FoRG'. Our US events are free to attend (as we're hosting them at Microsoft Technology Centers), but folks will need an access code to allow them to register. If you have a client, colleague or connection you'd like to invite to attend (because they're interested in learning how their business can
benefit from implementing Compliant Database DevOps), you can provide them with this code 'FoRGReferral' which will grant them access to register for free. Please refrain from posting these codes on social media, but please do help me to spread the word about the events by sharing the event details on your social media accounts, or in discussions with your clients/colleagues. Post here if you have any questions, and i'll get back to you with answers! Cheers, Annabel [image] / comments

Hi Edvaldo,
Great to hear that you'll be at SQLBits next week!
We don't organise any big FoRG Dinner when at SQL Bits, as the event organisers put on evening entertainment on each evening during the conference, and we've been advised in the past not to take anyone away from those events.
There will be a crew from Redgate at the event, and you won't be able to miss us, as we'll be in the expo every day from Thursday - Saturday.
Myself and the team look forward to seeing you there! I wonder which other FoRGs will be at the event, i'll be great to see some friendly faces!? / comments

The second instalment of SQL in the City Streamed will focus on Compliant DevOps. The livestream will air from 12:00 BST - 17:30 on June 20. For more info about the sessions that'll be presented, check out the schedule here: https://www.red-gate.com/hub/events/sqlinthecity/ Please do sign up for the virtual event, so that you can tune in and bring your knowledge of our latest solutions up-to-speed, and learn more about how Redgate’s tools help when putting in place database DevOps processes that align neatly with data privacy and protection requirements. Please do encourage your community followers, clients and colleagues to tune in. Please RT Redgate's tweet and share the linked in post. FYI - I can also reveal that the next (3rd) SQL in the City Streamed virtual event of 2018 will take place on September 5. The final livestream will be on December 12. We'll likely go public with both of these dates when we do the livestream in June (so that people can get the dates in their calendars). I look forward to you seeing myself and the Redgate team on June 20! [image] Cheers, Annabel / comments

Great idea! Will you still be doing two live streams each time for different time zones, or will you cut back to one and record them, since you're doing four per year?
This is a great question Cathrine.
We've now tested out a few different time zones, as well as doing multiple livestreams across two days. Given that the livestream is recorded and is then available to play on-demand, this gives people the option to tune in whenever suits them. So while we will be going live on Feb 28 at 12PM GMT - 5PM GMT what we expect is that anyone outside of that timezone will simply tune in when they can and watch it on-demand (but hopefully they'll still get the feeling that it's live). / comments
