Hi Josh,
Sorry to hear you are having trouble copying into the new window. Could I confirm that you started seeing this after upgrading?
What type of database are you trying to connect to? Are you using Azure or a local connection?
Best wishes,

Hi Dnv,
Thanks for reporting the lack of column suggestions in that scenario. I have reproduced this in SQL Server 2014 with the latest version of SQL Prompt.
I have logged this as a bug under reference SP-6251 and we will get back in touch if we find a fix. [image]

Hi Kev,
Thanks for the suggestion. If I'm understanding correctly, you are suggesting that SELECT statements should be expandable in the Summarize Script feature so that you can see any subqueries in the tree.
At the moment we have basic SELECT statement handling in Summarize Script, we only show whether it is a SELECT FROM <table> or SELECT <expression>.
If you think this would be a useful feature, would it be possible to add the suggestion on our UserVoice page to allow other users to vote on it? https://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/94413-sql-prompt

I have tested this on today's SSMS 17 and can confirm that the SQL Prompt installer does not pick up the additional SSMS version if you install the same version again. [image]
However uninstalling and reinstalling worked on SSMS 2017 as a workaround so it is worth trying that if you haven't already.
We have logged a support issue for this under reference SP-6255 / comments

Hi Curtis,
Sorry to hear that SQL Prompt isn't working for you in SSMS 2017 RC3, and that repairing it didn't work.
I tried to reproduce your problem but SQL Prompt installs successfully on a clean Windows Server 2012r2 SSMS 2017 RC3 virtual machine.
What happened when you uninstalled the first time? Or are you saying that we should be able to install into SSMS 17.0 RC3 without uninstalling?
Best wishes,

Hi D1rtyD0g,
Would it be possible to try updating to the latest version of SQL Prompt Pro? http://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLPrompt/SQLPrompt_7.5.1.1000.exe
If you installed SSMS 2016 after installing SQL Prompt then you will need to rerun the installer so that it can install into SSMS 2016 too. Hope that makes sense.

Hi rmcmenamy,
SQL Prompt Pro supports SQL Server 2016 so nothing to worry about there. You can see all the SQL Server versions we support on the Requirements page of our documentation site: https://documentation.red-gate.com/display/SP7/Requirements
SQL Compare also supports SQL Server 2016, which is the base for many of our products: https://documentation.red-gate.com/display/SC12/Requirements
Does that help? Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Best wishes,

Hi Harold,
We've logged this issue under reference SP-6248
Thank you for reporting this issue with the SQL Prompt load time. We have done some work to improve SQL Prompt's startup performance, and that has been released as SQL Prompt Core which comes with Visual Studio.
We are hoping to merge these improvements into SQL Prompt Pro and will get back in touch to let you know when we have released a sped up version of SQL Prompt Pro.
Best wishes,

Hi mtassin,
Thanks for reporting the issue. I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble installing 7.5.1.1000.
Does the installer run successfully when SSMS is not running?
You should be able to find a file called RedGate.Logfile.txt by clicking the top left of the installer. Can you see anything suspicious in this? [image]
