Hmm I'll have to attempt the process on an xp machine then. Generally the error I see coming back from QB 2007 while trying to profile is attributed to UAC and user level issues. / comments

Tried all of this and added a uninstall and reboot with reinstall and reboot and then run. No luck. - Do you have IIS installed on that machine? Yes - Which versions of the .NET Framework are installed? 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0 - Is Visual Studio installed? Which version(s)? Yes, 2005. / comments
