Windows 10 Enterprise, version 21H2 The only options for SSMS Integration Pack 3 are Modify (greyed out) and uninstall. Choosing uninstall I get a popup that says: This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page. My only option is to press the OK button. I have re-downloaded the tool pack, but when I try and re-install it says a newer version has been installed, and it will not let me continue. m / comments

This was an avoidable issue. The problem was I was using SSMS 2016 to connect to the SQL 2019 server. Once I moved to SSMS 18,8 the highlighting appeared normal. / comments

The only way I have been able to resolve this issue is to close SQL Server Management Studio, then delete the index files at the following location (WIndows XP):
C:Documents and Settings*USERNAME*Local SettingsApplication DataRed GateSQLSearch 2Indexes
These files are re-created the first time you perform a search. / comments
