Hi @DaveDev,

Can you check that "Show tooltips for: Objects" is checked ? [image]
Thanks,

Hi DaveDev,
I'm sorry to hear that you are encountering issues with the object-definition popup.
Have you enabled suggestions for your database from the prompt menu (SQL Prompt/Enable Suggestions) ?
Is there anything else on the screen ? Another popup that appears instead of the object-definition popup?
Thanks,

Hi @sdingle,
This should be fine. SQL Prompt doesn't delete the content of the old folder when migrating to newer version. If you want to be very prudent, you can ask the other users to make a backup of their folders
(eg: [C]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Red Gate\SQL Prompt 7)
Please let us know if you have issues,

Hi @wonderbison ,
Sorry to hear that you are having this issue.
Yes, you can disable this rule, there are 2 ways to do it.
The first one:
- Click on the text that is underlined in green. A blue light bulb should appear on the left side of your editor.
- Click the light bulb. The issue details window will appear.
- Click on 'Disable rule'.
The second way:
- Go to SQL Prompt menu and click on "Manage Code Analysis Rules..." (4th option from the top). The Code Analysis rules window appears.
- Uncheck rule EI016 : Reference to procedure in other database.
- Click 'Save'.
The code window you are looking for should appear again.
I hope this helps,
