Hi Max, Thank you for your post. Can I ask you to try uninstalling SQL Prompt first, then modify VS and remove SSDT. Then re-add SSDT and try to reinstall SQL Prompt and let me know if you hit the same error. / comments

Hi there, Thank you for your post. You will need to uninstall SQL Search first and then reinstall. The reinstall should be performed with both versions of SSMS installed. Please do let me know how you get on. / comments

When it comes to .Net Core obfuscated applications are compatible cross-platform. However, when it comes to SmartAssembly itself, it is a .Net Framework application which will not work on Linux distributions. We haven't tested these scenarios as they aren't supported by Smart Assembly. / comments

Hi, Thank you for your post. Here is a link to our requirements page for Smartassembly 8: https://documentation.red-gate.com/sa/getting-started/requirements My automatic response would be no as it isn't mentioned in the documentation and SA8 was not designed with Pi in mind. That being said, if you had a Pi running Windows 10 IoT Core then perhaps it would work. You would not have any of the GUI and would instead need to use SA8 via the command line. Documentation here: https://documentation.red-gate.com/sa/building-your-assembly/using-the-command-line-mode Then if you meet the necessary requirements such as 4 GB RAM,15MB space and could install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2, then technically it may work but then again it might not work with Windows 10 IoT Core as it is not officially supported. / comments

Hi Oraclebhoy, Thank you for your post. Version 10.1.9 is the latest version and you can install the SQL Backup server components using the Command line. You would only need .NET Framework 4.7.2 if you were also installing the GUI on the same server. / comments

Hi David, Thank you for your post. What version of VS do you have installed? Also just to be sure, SQL Prompt will only show in the extensions menu when a SQL Query is open. / comments

Hi Zaidmd, thank you for your post. To use the command line you would need SCO.exe installed on that machine or any machine that you were going to run it on, whether physical or virtual. As for the Licenses you would need a License per user. So if you have 6 developers using this tool then you would need a License with 6 entitlements. Those entitlements are then log in specific. / comments

After Disabling intellisense has there been any improvement? If it is still slow though it may be due to the version of SSMS you are running. If possible please update to the latest version of SSMS. SQL Prompt does not work that well with SSMS 16 so ideally the latest version would be best. Alternatively though it will also work with SSMS 17. / comments
