Hi all, This should now be fixed with the latest release, and this also includes a fix for an issue in SSM that caused multiple copies of the same query to be opened from SQL History:
10.15.3.12768 - Released on 26 November 2024 Fixes
Fixed an issue where multiple instances of the same query tab opened by SQL History in SSMS.
Fixed SQL Prompt (15.1) that caused an error to appear while opening in Visual Studio.

I've been able to replicate the issue locally, and so I've forwarded the issue to the development team for a fix. Once a fix is released, then I'll update this thread. As a temporary work around though, you can roll back to 10.14.23.11448 and this will work with VS 2022. 10.14.23.11448 / comments

Looking at the configuration for the alert, the settings appear to be setup so that the alert is triggered after a Database has gone into a state other than online for more than 30 seconds. From the screenshot that you sent, we can see that the alert triggered on 21 Sept 06:49 and based on the sampling of the DB this is when it was first recorded as going into recovery mode. So it seems the alert did trigger from the database going into recovery mode. / comments

Hi all, I've heard back from the team and this should now be resolved, are you able to try accessing the Platform once more and confirm if you can access it or if the issue persists? / comments

Hi all, We have made the development team aware of the issue and replicated the same issue internally as well. At the moment it seems to be an issue with the tool reaching the endpoint for the API so the team that looks after this has been alerted. Once there is an update or if the issue has been fixed then I will update this thread. Thank you all for your patience whilst this is worked on. / comments

Hi Andy, The SQL Prompt snippets feature will be available to users that have a licence. However, as SQL Prompt is licenced per user, you would only be permitted to have 3 users in order to comply with the EULA. For those users with a licence though, they should be able to make use of the Redgate Platform in order to share and sync their snippets. The built-in code snippet manager should also still be accessible even with SQL Prompt installed. / comments

Hi Robert, You can post this on our Uservoice forum as a feature request if this is something you'd like to see: https://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/101149-sql-search The DB selection will only reset between each SSMS session currently, but it won't reset if you close and re-open SQL Search. / comments

Hi Robert, Thank you for your post. When you re-open SQL Search, is this after re-opening SSMS or is this in the same session that you are closing and opening SQL Search? As far as I know, there is no config file to set a default for the search, by default all DBs are listed for the connected instance(s). / comments

Hi @dmckee0341 Thank you for your post. Which Authentication method are you using to connect to your Azure DB? Also, can you please confirm the full version of SQL Source Control that you have installed? Do you have any other tools installed into SSMS other than the 2 mentioned? / comments
