Using 6.5.0.243, SQL 2012, latest SP/CU. The apply qualifying names chooses the wrong table. Look at the where clause after SQL Prompt applies changes... it should still be using table, precheckout. Indeed, I have two objects - a table, and a table type, with the same name. While not a best practice, should this cause the system to bomb out? It didn't use to until recently. / comments

Aaron, For older code I run across, the qualify name feature is very helpful. For newer code, we tend to insert the square brackets. In fact, it's just pretty much "what we do" in order to not encounter all kinds of issues, including that with returning result sets for reporting. Best, John / comments

The latest Aug 1 release .zip file seems to be corrupted. I can get many other zip files to extract fine, but not this one. <<<EDIT>>> Let me answer my own question: Avast was stopping it (blindly and silently due to my settings) from extracting. I had to disable Avast for 10 minutes in order to install. The extraction and installation went fine thereafter. / comments

I can confirm that running repair on the aforementioned items seems to do the trick. Something fouled up my installation from the last SQL Toolbelt upgrade I performed. Now back to normal. / comments

Allow me to post my own fix... :-) I log into the sql server sometimes as a user, the other times as myself (windows auth) which has full server rights. I'm able to commit using the more restricted user. No idea why, but now I know the fix. / comments
