Hi @Donkey_Brains I just got some feedback from the developers and with their current workload they're unable to take this on currently and so they're going to backlog it. Apologies this isn't much help at the current time and hopefully you can understand [image] / comments

Hi @DbZAG a potential workaround is to use Large Address Aware utility which will enable Redgate.DependencyViewer.UI.exe Large Address Aware (allowing this process to use up to 4GB RAM within a 64bit system). The following link will provide further information and the utility to download - https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/large-address-aware.112556/ / comments

Hi @... the only best practices that I'm aware of is documented here: https://documentation.red-gate.com/sc/troubleshooting/common-issues/comparison-seems-slow Other than the above unfortunately I'm not sure there's much else you can do to speed up the command line for comparison. / comments

H @Nikos226 sounds like a great idea as a quality of life enhancement! I'll be sure to pass it onto the developers, could I ask that you also share this on the UserVoice forum for them to review? - https://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/94413-sql-prompt / comments

Hi @WakeDb unfortunately there's no option for this currently and thus it would need to be a feature request. If you could please head over to this forum here and make the suggestion that would be fantastic! Periodically the developers will take a look at the UserVoice forum for new feature requests for future enhancements. / comments

Hi @dwainew unfortunately the logs had nothing in them, from your last comment "It stopped after a second restart and hasn't occurred since" are you saying you're now able to use the Windows authentication? / comments

Hi @dwainew sorry to hear you're experiencing these issues! Could I trouble you for the logs, this should hopefully give some better insight into why it's giving an error for the Windows auth. These can be located here: %localappdata% > Red Gate > Logs It's a strange bug, you might see the Data Generator logs openly and not nested within a sub folder. If you could zip them up that would be fantastic! / comments

@DanC I have found the cause: For performance, I use "Only load suggestions for certain databases/schemas" option. My freshly installed SQL Express 2017 was not in the list. The fact it was SQL Express 2017 was not related to the cause. It turns out the if the database is not included in the server/database list for connections, then the Find Invalid Objects does not work. It would be a sensible UI enhancement to notify the user that this is the case instead of allowing the attempt, then just showing a progress bar that appears to get stuck at about 10%.
Hey Theo, I've passed all the details onto the development team and they've recognized this as a bug and so they will be reviewing it in due time. Hope this helps! / comments

Hi @TheoL could you possibly provide me with an example script you're using to find invalid objects on for me to test? / comments
