I do have the folder you mentioned and yes I have .scp files in the folder as recent as Yesterday. I am not aware of any roaming profile issues. I regularly other servers using remote desktop with my profile.
These seem to be created when I connect to a remote server and do several compares with the connection. The other thing is that I have Red Gate Bundle both version 4.1 and 5.2 installed. When I double click the desktop icon for one of these, it attempts to start the version 4.1 compare and errors out. / comments

I would have to agree with mrichmon.
The defaults I chose are for our specific environment. We develop software and I am trying to keep a lab environment with multiple servers up to date with latest version of databases.
I check permissions, white space, user permision, force column order, statistics, and fill factor. But this is because of our environment and what we want to achieve with the synchronization.
While the clone method works, the older version was a much more friendly user experience with defaults. / comments

Actually it is just happening on my PC, but currently I am the one in our group testing Source Control 3. I am running SSMS 2008 R2 version 10.50.2772. It is the password for SQL Server Authentication that is being forgotten.
However, today I discovered another piece of the puzzle. When I just start SSMS and connect to the server and work with a stored proc, then exit, it remembers the password. But if I commit the changes, then exit, it forgets the password. Also, if I edit the stored proc and use one of the sql Prompt 5 options like uppercase keywords, the next time I try to connect, the password field is empty. / comments

The issues seems to occur only when I create a deploy script from any 2 versions of the source control projects. We use TFS as our source control server.
This is a snippet of code that is incorrect

I certainly hope this is resolved soon. I have installed SQL Server 2012 and the older version you had me install 3.0.4 does not seem to be compatible with the SSMS for 2012. I reinstalled 3.0.9 but it crashes SSMS 2012 with the same problem. / comments

SSMS keeps crashing when trying to commit a large schema. The smaller one committed ok(20 tables, 30 stored procs). But the larger db (370 tables, 800+ stored procs, 30 functions) will not complete the committ. I am using TFS for source control
this is from SSMS. It seems to point to sql compare?

I would like to see format sql, uppercase key words, and Qualify object names first. It was a surprise that SQL Prompt 5 was disabled by SSDT. / comments

I have experienced the same issue after installing tab magic. It goes into a query opening frenzy until SSMS stops working. It shows a new window saying corrupt memory, but you cannot enter any information or send the message. I used task manager to kill SSMS. I even tried to remove all ~xxx.sql files from my temp folder, but I got the same result. I unistalled tab magic and SSMS starts just fine. Let me know when you get this fixed so I can install it again. I like the concept of what this app will provide. / comments
