David,
I was specifically interested in the export a Data Source option only available in the Professional Edition to a script folder - that way I can script an entire database in a way that mirrors my Perforce Source control - saving me the hassle of breaking the synchronization script into pieces.
Worth the money for me...
Plus I am presenting SQL Compare to the Philadelphia SQL Server Users Group in November prior to attending the PASS summit in Seattle - so I'd like to be able to give our users a full overview of the product - http://www.pssug.org.
Thanks for your help,

Everything is back to normal.
Had anyone else experienced that error?

This error occurs in 3 of the 4 DBs I have under Source control.
Un-linking and re-linking does not correct the situation.

Evan,
Clicked on and downloaded the new product - Top marks on the new version - everything syncs up practically instantaneously, versus a minute plus with the older version when rendering the stored procedures.
Thank you so much!

I downloaded the other tool and obtained 3.7.7.246 - but the problem remains.
I takes an excessive amount of time for SQL to open and close when connected via Source Control. If I launch another instance not under source control things open and close immediately, if that is of any help.
I also do notice when I clicked the check for update it took almost 45 seconds for it to come back with no updates available. / comments

Yeah - having that as the default deploys the dependencies if you are moving too fast, or if you have college interns who doesn't know to uncheck that box...;-)
Making that a user selectable default seems like a no harm/no foul option - especially if you DO NOT want it enabled as default.
Thanks for the consideration,

Has this ever been fixed to allow it to be turned off? We need that option too.
Thanks,
