Our apologies for not getting back to you sooner...
Normally this issue is caused by the login you are using for the comparison not having sufficient permissions in the database(s), as explained here: http://www.red-gate.com/messageboard/vi ... php?t=3999
It's a somewhat obscure error, so doesn't really give much of a hint as to what it might be.
Do you think you would be able to try it with a user which has dbo rights and see if that works? / comments

Hi,
It's as simple as it sounds - just uninstall it from your 'incorrect' machine and install it on the correct one. You should be able to activate the software with no problems if this is done, however if you do receive an error when you attempt to activate the software, please email us on 'support AT red-gate.com', and we will sort it out for you.
