Hi all,
Apologies for the problems faced here. The simplest solution to this for anybody else hitting it is:
1. Goto "Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Programs and Features"
2. Locate and click on "SSMS Integration Pack Framework 1"
3. Right click and choose "Repair"

1. MySQL Data Compare is used by a lot of our customers against InnoDB tables, but as always we recommend you use a trial version of the software to make sure it works for you and review the deployment script before running it while you get familiar with what the tool is doing.
2. We limit the number of machines you can activate the tool(s) on, but the number of databases/servers you can connect to is unlimited. So by default a single user is given two activations, for example for use on a Laptop and desktop machine. / comments

Sorry for the slow reply, the release in May was a small fix to avoid some rare clashes with other Red Gate add-ins using the shared framework. Thanks for pointing out the release notes were out of date though, we've now added a short entry. / comments
