Hi Kondrich,
I'm glad you are finding the Find Invalid Objects feature useful. Unfortunately we were unable to get support for temporary tables in this release but we will look at including it in the future.
Quick question regarding your hanging SSMS: how large is the database that was presenting problems?
Thanks for your comments and feel free to email me directly with any further feedback, suggestions or ideas.
All the best,

Sadly, this won't be in SQL Prompt 5. We spoke with many Refactor users before removing it--to make sure it wouldn't be missed--but clearly we didn't speak to enough of you.
I'll do my best to get this in a future point release.

Hi Bernard,
Thanks for letting us know about this and I'm glad you sorted it out.
Quick question: was the successful retry with a fresh download?

SQL Prompt 5 will not support Query Analyzer. / comments
SQL Prompt 5 will not support Query Analyzer.
Hi,
Thanks for your comments. I can understand why this might have seemed unusual but this is now the desired behaviour as we have removed support for Query Analyzer.

Hi Andrew,
SQL Prompt 5 will show up in Visual Studio but with reduced functionality compared to SSMS. We hope to support Visual Studio 2010 fully in the future.

You're right, it's a frustrating flaw, and I completely agree with your complaint. I've run into this myself a few times when writing queries.
If it were a straightforward fix, believe me, we would have tackled it already, but sadly it's part of the parser and whilst the team were keen to work on improving certain aspects of it, there was no scope to look at modifying that part of the code base in this release; the last rewrite of the parser took twelve months.
We do try our best to accommodate as many user requests as possible, but we can't solve all the problems due to resource limitations. I understand this is really frustrating for you and it's a valid complaint; it isn't that we think it's fine as it is or that it is not worth fixing, it's just that we have had higher priority issues to tackle. All that said, I will do my best to push for this fix in the future and would ask readers of this post to chip in to add weight to the case.

Hi,
Unfortunately, we were unable to do any work on the parser in this release so support for CLR types (and XML) will not be in SQL Prompt 5.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback.
We've been reviewing feature requests for Prompt recently and support for acronyms is certainly on our radar--I could have used it yesterday! It's unlikely to make the 5.0 release but is a serious candidate for 5.1.
What level of flexibility would be useful?
