Thank you! That is very helpful to know. My project is source controlled, so I need to make sure that the relevant items in the Schema-Model folder are manually checked out before attempting migrations. I may end up just continuing to use Visual Studio for this, but I would like to try to use SSMS because it seems more natural for me to do my work there instead. / comments

I'm wondering about forcing certain columns of fields together in a Null or not situation. Examples are:
Address
Name parts
CC Info (date/num/name)
I'm trying, but the info doesn't make much sense if I have a 80% null scenario (for example), and trying to make sure that the values line up in some sort of logical sense. / comments

I'd like to see this back in if possible at some point. I frequently work with cross-DB queries, and telling me to use USE bascially means that I have to give up intellisense for one or the other DB that I am working with.
This was something that actually worked under V2, and was quite handy. / comments

In v2 I actually had it different (so that it would be more "intellisensey" looking), but I can live with it being the same.
I had a lot of problems figuring thing out, but now I think I get it. In the previous version, everything was attached the the the notification area icon, which is where I was looking for option-like settings. In this version, there is the "SQL Prompt" menu item, which I had totally missed. Perhaps some sort of aditional note in "What's this..." dialog would be helpful. Or even an additional menu item pointing to the help file. I use the Start Menu very rarely, and menu items there are just not very discoverable for me. / comments

HJoyce, thanks. That was indeed the problem.
I guess I should have checked help more closely. Sorry about that. / comments

Hi -
I ran into the same issue raised by the OP, and tried setting up an RGTEMP environment variable pointing to a drive with more space. But the setting doesn't seem to work. Does it matter if environment variable is a system variable or a user one? / comments

I know you can open up multiple tabs (and do). But I tend to open a session for each distinct tasks/projects I might be working on at the same time. Having one instance for each is easier to deal with than trying to sort through 20 different tabs trying to figure out what goes with which. / comments
