If you have the SQL Toolbelt or the SQL Developer Bundle, and provided you took the support and ugprades option, you'll get SQL Source Control at no extra cost.
If you don't have support and upgrades, I believe that there is a way to 'upgrade' to this option. Or you could of course purchase it separately. Please email sales@red-gate.com for more details.

David,
This blog is news to me. Thank you - that makes a huge difference. I had heard rumors they were going to basically eliminate VSS and make TFS more available but I had been unable to find direct references to this.
Apparently I failed to search very well.
As far as Subversion, after I posted that I went hunting and apparently there is a plugin for Delphi - so I guess I need to start looking at Subversion.
Thanks for the link - that answers a lot of questions. VSS certainly isn't a top notch product and it sounds like I might finally be able to dump it.

David,
Actually..wow..TFS 2010 doesn't support keyword expansion OR sharing. But then I'm reading on Subversion and getting the locking that VSS has seems to be a bit of hack.
It's never easy.

OK guys I got a serious issue with disabling hardware acceleration on my Nvidia graphic cards to get SQL Prompt to work.
That's not an acceptable solution.
I'm running the latest drivers with 7000 & 8000 series cards. The pauses and delays are immediate. I'm talking clicking into the window and nothing happens for a few seconds.
And the delays are intermitent. I've noticed that it will work just fine and then suddenly in the middle of populating the drop down it will pause. I just opened up a database immediately after a reboot and the delay was present.
I find it highly unlike the issue is with my Nvida cards, especially when people are reporting the issue on laptops.
This is a serious problem and is approaching the 'uninstall sql prompt' and go back to SQL prompt 3 level...again.
Is there a reason why we have to email to get the workaround and is this different from the disable HW acceleration?
