Hi,
2 things:
1) SQL Prompt 2 does not work (very well) on non-English systems. See here for other people who encountered that problem: http://www.red-gate.com/messageboard/vi ... php?t=2476
2) SQL Prompt 2 was built against Framework 1.1. Running it against Framework 2 might cause problems. So you might want to try to uninstall SQL Prompt 2, install Framework 1.1, then re-install SQL Prompt 2.
Let me know if that helps,

Hi Anders,
Thanks for posting. It should do table name suggestions, eg. after the 'FROM' keyword. If it doesn't that means something is wrong.

Hi,
sorry about the problems you're having. I agree that the version notes are not totally correct, and the installer isn't the best, either. We didn't remove features so we could sell version 3, though. I talked to the developer who worked on version 2, and he claims those features were out already when we got the code, possibly after feedback from our usability engineer. So it's not ideal, but not as malicious as you claim. Also, all 1.4 users will get the price they paid for 1.4 deducted from the price of version 3.

Hi John,
5300 tables shouldn't be a problem for SQL Prompt 3, as we're aiming to get it to work with Peoplesoft databases and the like, which have 20,000+ tables.

Hi,
Thanks for posting. We hope to change the way SQL Prompt interfaces with Query Analyzer in version 3, which will hopefully resolve these issues.
