Hi Paul,
Thanks for your suggestion. You are not the first to make it. I for one find it very annoying. We are aiming to make the keyboard controls much more like VS intellisense and more customisable in version 3.

Hi,
Thanks for posting. We are aiming to make SQL Prompt 3 much more like VS intellisense, which will hopefully solve your problem with the '=' sign. Sorry about your other problem. Could you tell me a bit more about your system? OS, language settings, SQL Server versions, editor, machine specs?

Hi Ed,
we have changed the licensing for the command lines a bit. They used to be part of the SQL Toolkit, and now they are part of SQL Compare Pro, as opposed to SQL Compare Standard. So my guess is that you have a SQL Compare Standard license. If you used to have a Toolkit license to use the command lines, get in contact with sales@red-gate.com and they should give you a Pro license.
(And yes, it is not ideal that in one place it says 'activation successful' when it wasn't.)

Hi,
Thanks for posting. Sorry you're having problems. We hope to change the way SQL Prompt 3 works so this kind of stuff doesn't happen anymore. In the meantime you could disable SQL Prompt 2 in the Options dialog.

Hope that helps,

Hi,
Thanks for the plentiful information. The only thing that springs out to me, at the moment, is you only have Framework 2. SQL Prompt 2 was built against Framework 1.1, so maybe installing Framework 1.1 will do the trick.
