Hello,
I understand your frustration as this has bitten me couple of times before I got used to it.
Initially we didn’t do this feature due to some complications that we realised are of no concern anymore.
So I will include this as a feature request and get this done in our future versions. However, I will not be able to promise this for v3.8 as we are running on some tight schedules for the final release.
Thanks,

Hi Peter,
I can understand the inconvenience but we have logged this as a feature request for our future versions.
However, I am sorry to say that we will not be able to get this done for the upcoming [v3.8] release though.
Thanks,

Hi,
Can you please try to run SqlWb.exe /setup from your command prompt?
This should ideally rebuild the menu items.
Alternatively, you could try to do a fresh installation.
First, uninstall both SQL Refactor and SQL Prompt from Add/Remove programs and then remove the icons from the editors. The below listed url explains how the menus can be removed from the editors. http://help.red-gate.com/help/SQLPrompt ... lling.html
Following this install the latest versions of the tool (available in our website). And you should be all set to continue using the tool.
Please do let us know if you have any further issues/queries.
Thanks,

Hello,
I reckon Brian missed clipping the url in his reply, but the following should help you address your concern.
Copy the xml files - EngineOptions and UIOptions from C:\Documents and Settings\%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Prompt 3 to C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Local Settings\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Prompt 3
This should help sync the prompt settings for any user logging in for the first time.
I hope that helps.
Thanks,

Hello,
Strange! I have tried this and it doesn’t work for me either. It looks like the parser is having trouble identifying the object for the query. We will have a look at this and fix it for the next release version.
Thank you very much for bringing this up and excuse us for any inconvenience.

Hi Scott,
We did check installing the products from the toolbelt installer on a x64 Win XP machine (with VS 2008) followed by Prompt 3.7 installation and it all seems to work very well. So trying to do a fresh install might actually resolve the problems for you.
Please follow the instructions listed in the link below to remove the menus. http://help.red-gate.com/help/SQLPrompt ... lling.html
Thank you ver much for your patience and please do let us know if this fixed your problems.
