Thanks. I couldn't get it not to work but my colleagues could. It has really helped us reproduce an issue we've been searching hard for so thank you. And watch this space, we should have some updates soon... / comments

Hi, thanks for the error report. I've had success with profiling BuggyBits on most systems so I'm sure we can get to the bottom of this. I'm investigating using the tinyget utility. In the meantime, are you able to test on an x64 machine? If that works then I think we have a issue with overflow somewhere. / comments

Can you send the screenshot into us at support please? support@red-gate.com
I think what is probbaly happening is you are seeing timing results for all threads so- you are seeing threads that execute the "if" and threads that execute the "else". This is perfectly normal, ANTS is not a debugger; its meant to show you all threads by default. Try selecting a single thread from the drop down menu (even this may show both but makes it less likely). / comments

Actually, I'be been told we need more information before we log a bug. Can you send some log of the error (either the stack trace or windows event log entry)? Would you be able to help us try to reproduce the problem here (sending your app perhaps)? / comments

I don't think you are missing anything. I'm afraid I do not know half of the terms you describe but I can tell that you do and will assume that it is, indeed, a defect so I'll log a bug and post the reference. I will then eventually know what is being done. Sorry don't have more constructive news. / comments

No- ANTS 4.x 9and 5) profiles everything but, when you have your reuslts, you can "filter" according to which time region you want to look at using the interactive timeline.
We've found this "model" works better than the previous model.
This should help illustrate what I mean: http://www.red-gate.com/products/ants_p ... /step6.htm / comments

Well, I've got my BuggyBits up and running and profiling nicely. I'm using 64-bit Win 2008, IIS7; same ANTS version as yourself. I'm the local administrator. I expect it is a permissions issue. As another suggestion, can you also try using the "unused port" option? / comments
