Thanks Colin.
I know it wont be needed to run on a higher level of SQL or Windows. I will wait for the announcement of version 6's release.

This is a known issue that should be fixed in 5.5 which is coming soon. It was hoped to be fixed in 5.4 but didn't make it.

Petey,
I had the same problem again this morning. It happens every 2 months. I had removed some DTA data from msdb to make its contents smaller but I had not shrunk msdb. The database is over 1.2 Gb but holds 200Mb of data. Can this problem occur even if the data content of msdb is nowhere near the actual size of msdb? Its also funny that it only happens once every 2 months and I can nothing extra happening on the day it occurs.
Thanks

It could be because of the size of msdb. I hadn't realized that it was as big as it was because it has DTA data in it.
Thanks

Look at the topic RESOLVED: Upgrade fails to verify version to see how to clear up the upgrade failure.
When you installed SQLBackup did you use SQL authentication and use the sa account to run SQLBackup?

Just what I needed to. It worked like a charm. Adding it to the GUI will be a good thing.
Thanks Priya

If you mean that your job is still running by seeing it in the In Progress tab and you have Verify on then you have a known problem. Red gate are hoping to have this fixed in 5.5.

Aaron,
You at least are not getting the 1010 error where SQLBackup is using the MemToLeave memory and needs this to be contiguous. SQLBackup is pretty resource hungry and if you use the GUI to run the jobs rather than schedule them you can exhaust the resources.
I have had this problem on occasion and just had to make sure I was not running too many SQLBackups jobs at the same time and I think that the system drive was low on space. I believe that it is this last point that is causing your problem.
