Is there a way to disable/reset the Send To email?
I set it to my email
send Test Mail, received it okay
now how do I set to NOBODY?
the Apply button is greyed out if there's no email address
I had to add in nobody@company.com so I don't get an email
NVM, it's addressed in the Final Relesae http://www.red-gate.com/MessageBoard/vi ... php?t=7599 / comments

Mnn, that's bad news because I usually turn off SSMS 2008 IntelliSense when I have SQL Prompt on, as it becomes very confusing
Guess I'll leave it on then / comments

I just found out about this the other day, when I ran out of my SQL Backup license #, so I downloaded the Deactivation Tool, and un-activated on some machines
Question for Red Gate, is there a way to know the machines that are activated? like desktop1, desktop2, server1, server2...
I keep thinking I only have 4 installed and not 5 (license limit?)
By the way, for the Deactivation Tool, can I "just" deactivate SQL Backup in a Toolbelt bundle?
I don't need SQLBackup on my laptop but rather want them on the servers instead. When I tried to deactivate, it only lets me deactivate the entire Toolbelt bundle
Thanks / comments

We've very recently updated all of our products to, now, support SQL Server 2008.
You can either download the Toolbelt from the website and upgrade all of the products at once, or you can use the 'Check for Updates' functionality to upgrade them individually.
so want to confirm, everything to date supports SQL 2008 RTM out of box?
I know they support RC0 for certain
Is there an easier way to "check update for toolbelt"?
every time I had to download the trail version, and in turns causes someone at RedGate to contact me for followup, and I tell them I just downloaded for newer version, and I have license already
or I'm too lazy to go into like 10 RedGate products, and "check update" [image]

Hi Tanya
I am seeing the same issue, using 3.9.0.43 SQL Prompt
Just tried it, refreshed cache, no table list for my TRUNCATE TABLE as well
I turned IntelliSense off as well (this is for a SQL 2008 RC0 box)
Just tried the same SSMS 2008 client on a SQL2005 SP2 SQL box, no hint either USE Log
TRUNCATE TABLE ...

I can see the difficult associated with this
thankfully I'm all done with full-text for now, no need to sync anymore
I'd just say make it an WARNING to warn the user that he/she may encounter this error, and possibly have to split the sync script manually (or by SQL Compare) into full-text, and non-full-text
Thanks for the reply Michelle / comments

It'd be nice to know the specifics I agree
I can tell you firsthand that those are supported by SQL Compare 7 on SQL 2008
spatial index
full-text catalog / comments

With Log Shipping, you can set it up in SSMS (right click on a DB, follow the wizard), and auto restore on 1-to-N Secondary servers
Note: Secondary servers can only be in either RECOVERY mode (no use other than hot standby), or STANDBY mode (read-only, so you can select on it, use it for reporting purpose, but cannot perform write operation)
It'd be interesting to test SQL Backup's Log Shipping feature (didn't even know about it until I did the survey yesterday)
btw, download RedGate's Log Shipping monitor tool, it's pretty cool / comments
