Hi Radovan,
Email are sent only when an alert is raised for the first time. The next email is sent only when you clear the alert group.
Like in your case the email was sent when the first 'Long running query' was raised. Now the next email will be sent only after you clear alert group 'Long running query'.
We didn't wanted to spam people with emails so decided on this frequency but if this is not sufficient then please let us know.

Priya,
Would it be possible to make email notification frequency a user configurable option? I'd like to minimize the spam too, but also don't want to loose track of a recurring problem when I'm busy attending to other details or issues. I've got approximately 1200 databases spread over 80 servers to manage so it gets a little crazy sometimes, especially when things go south!
Thanks,

Hi Bern,
We would try to make email frequency more configurable in future version, though it may not be possible to do it for version 1.0. Can you please tell us a bit more about the sort of email frequency configurations you are looking for?
In SQL Response release candidate, you can disable/ enable emails for a particular template/ alert type/ job/ database etc. SQL Response doesn’t send any emails for recommendations.
It would be good if you could kindly provide us some more details.

Hi Priya,
What I had in mind would be an option in the 'Configure Email' panel that would send 'reminder' notices at a user configured interval like every x minutes/hours/days to 'nag' the responsible party until the issue has been resolved. This would be useful for lower priority items that still need to be addressed, but can't be immediately resolved due to time constraints. As an example, sometimes my 'plate runs over' with high priority items, but I still want to take proactive measures so the lower priority issues get resolved even though I'm too busy to deal with them at the current time. Hopefully, this makes sense and I didn't ramble on too much.
Thanks,

Is there a way to disable/reset the Send To email?
I set it to my email
send Test Mail, received it okay
now how do I set to NOBODY?
the Apply button is greyed out if there's no email address
I had to add in nobody@company.com so I don't get an email
NVM, it's addressed in the Final Relesae

I have problem with 'send email to'.
I click on 'Edit Alert Criteria' and into Configuration Window enter into field 'send email to' my e-mail address. I configure E-mail by clicking on 'Configure Email' button. Sending Test mail was successfully.
So far I have 9 LRQ, but I got only one mail for alert.
