Hi PDinCA,

Thanks!
Hi PDinCA,
Thank you for your post into the forum.
It seems that there is a problem with the client cache, please try the following :
Close the SQL Backup GUI.
Navigate to :
%:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Backup\Server Data
Delete the contents.
Open the GUI.
The cache should now rebuilt and these In progress jobs should disappear.
Please let me know if this helps. / comments

Hi Esio,
Thank you for your post into the forum.
I have done some testing and have recreated this issue using a German OS as well.
I have raised this bug and it will be looked at for a future release.
In the meantime, if you copy the Query Analyzer Integration shortcut into your "Inicializar" folder does the tray app work on startup?
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. / comments

Cedar,
Thank you for your post into the forums, I apologise you are encountering issues with SQL Prompt.
Would you be able to e-mail me some information to support@red-gate.com quoting reference F0014994 ?
The information required is :
SQL Server Service Packs installed.
Database size.
Is the database replicated?
If you have SQL Compare installed, can you tell me how long it takes to compare to an empty database?
I look forward to your response.
Thanks! / comments

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your post into the forum.
Adding a second job step will work fine and not interfere with your backup processes/jobs although it will have a knock on effect to the GUI.
After a second job step has been added the job will no longer be editable from the GUI.
Hope this helps. / comments

Hi Gary,
First of all you will need to deactivate SQL Backup on your SQL 2000 Server, you can download the deactivation tool from : http://www.red-gate.com/supportcenter/G ... oducts.htm
Once you have successfully deactivated your serial number you can activate it on your new SQL Server 2008 machine.
To do this simply right click the server in the SQL Backup GUI and choose Activate License, you can then enter your serial number and activate SQL Backup.
I hope this helps. / comments
