I've noted that as a request. I think it would be good to have an option to see the MS_Description on the diagram.
If you right click on an object in the diagram and select "Show SQL", the creation SQL for the extended properties are listed as part of the script. Although these aren't directly visible, maybe you'll be able to use this as a way of storing information with each object? And you would be documenting your database at the same time!

That's a great idea. Better still, do you think that the "note" should simply be the MS_Description extended property? There could be an option to display this description in the object itself? Or do you have a requirement to have these notes saved outside the database?

Yes, "get latest" isn't the correct way to deploy to Production. Most customers fire up a copy of SQL Compare Pro and use this. Just set the source to the SQL Source Control scripts folder, and set the target to be your Production server and run through the deployment wizard. SCA is appropriate if you want to use a migrations-based approach for deployments, which is popular for automated release processes. / comments

When doing a 'get latest' we don't currently show the script _unless_ the script fails to execute. Is there any reason why you need to review the script at this stage. Are you doing 'get latest' do a dev instance or production? / comments

Although you're selecting a subset of objects SQL Compare needs to read and parse the entire schema to build a dependency tree so it can correctly ensure that when the deployment script is generated that it can pull in the dependencies. This is why there's no performance improvement. That's not to say there couldn't in future be a 'mode' implemented in the tool that would allow a quicker comparison, although it couldn't then guarantee as high a quality of deployment script as it wouldn't have read in the dependencies. / comments

Yes, the licensing of the SQL Compare command line has indeed changed. Could you try the /allUsers switch as described here. / comments

Apologies, this is not something we have an option for. I've added it to our list of enhancement requests. In the meantime the workaroudn is to remove these references manually. I'd love to hear from anyone else who is undergoing the same issue.
Kind regards,
