Hi Redgate team,
after today’s update that introduced Theme Switching support, SQL History now automatically follows the SSMS/Visual Studio theme.
In Dark Mode, this leads to a display issue:
SQL History shows black text on a black background, making the content unreadable.
Details:
- SSMS version: 22.5.0
- SQL Prompt / SQL History version: 11.3.11
- Theme: Cool Slate
- Issue: Text color does not adapt to the dark theme → black text on black background
- Reproducible: Always, immediately when opening SQL History
Expected behavior:
Readable text colors that match the selected theme, or an option to override the theme for SQL History.
Question:
Is there a way to adjust the font color or disable theme switching for SQL History?
If not, it would be great to have a fix or a configuration option in a future update.
Thanks!
