SQL Prompt icon & Options missing in SSMS 22.2.1 — how to access Prompt settings?

Hi Redgate Team,

I’m running SSMS 22.2.1 with SQL Prompt installed. Prompt features like SQL History are present, but the SQL Prompt toolbar icon is missing and I cannot access any Prompt Options from the SSMS menus. I need to change settings (like formatting/Prompt preferences), but there’s no visible way to open the Prompt Options dialog in this SSMS version.

Is there a supported way to show the Prompt icon or open the Options menu in SSMS 22.2.1?

Thanks!

FYI, I was able to resolve the issue by installing the latest version of the toolset and then following this article to go into extensions and uncheck the box for prompt, then save and restart.  Installing and running SQL Prompt - SQL Prompt 11 - Product Documentation

Have you checked under Extensions in SSMS 22 to see if SQL Prompt is listed there instead of the old top level menu? If it is enabled but the toolbar is hidden, you might also try resetting the SSMS window layout or reinstalling SQL Prompt to restore the menu integration. @fnf
