Hi,
The growth with SQL Clone can come down to a few different factors, a few of which are documented here: https://documentation.red-gate.com/clone/troubleshooting/common-issues/the-files-behind-the-clone-have-grown-to-be-very-large

Thanks for that.
Is it possible to make the clone relinquish space (i.e. deflate) if an action is undone (the cancelled deletes in my case?
Regards
Richard

Good morning
I have created a clone that started out at 44MB.
I then needed to delete some records but forgot the WHERE clause (thankfully, this was on the clone).
I cancelled the query and all rows are still in place.
The clone has grown to 33.5GB even though, effectively, nothing was done.
Can someone please explain?
TIA
Richard
