In 2023 we initiated a project to rewrite our MySQL comparison engines from scratch. We chose to temporarily retire the previous versions of our tool to focus on the new. We are pleased to announce that we now have the first version of Schema compare for MySQL.
Schema Compare for MySQL is the most reliable way to compare and deploy MySQL database schemas. This tool is ideal for all database professionals. DBAs will benefit from more observability and control over the database changes and developers looking can track and manage schema changes during the development lifecycle. You can download the tool here and can find additional detail in our documentation page.
Once out of preview we expect to have two editions of Schema Compare for MySQL: a paid edition and a free community edition for students, educators, small businesses and non-commercial open-source projects. More details to follow.
