Error message when opening a SQL Compact base

Hi,
error report sent, but get error of
Keyword not supported 'max database size'
Click on Don' send

Error occurs twice more and then SSMS aborts

Have to remove SQL Search toolbar to access my compact databases.

I know we mobile developers are the poor relations but.... :lol:

    Hi Pete,

    Does this happen when you click the SQL Search button (to open the window) or at some other point in time - i.e. what did you do just before the error was thrown?

    Hi Mark,
    this was just when I attempted to connect to an SDF file on my PC

    Just try to open any SDF and you should see the error

    I get the same problem when trying to open an SDF file.

    Additionally, when trying to send the error report, I get an error because I am behind an authenticating proxy and it will not send without specifying credentials (and there is no place to specify them).
