Unable to restore

Hello,

I am trying to restore a backup file on a new server and I receive the following error when I select the file to restore:

SQL Server error

SQL error 3013: SQL error 3013: RESTORE FILELIST is terminating abnormally
SQL error 3254: SQL error 3254: The volume on device 'SQLBACKUP_F9DCC07-7316-4B60-A09D-23698A682256' is empty.
SQL error 0: Failed to read filelist details (0 rows).

SQL Backup exit code: 1100

Anyone encounter this before?

    Are you trying to restore the backup file on an older version of SQL Server?
    e.g. a backup created on SQL Server 2005 onto SQL Server 2000?

    The backup is from 2000 going to a 2005 server.
