Hi maybe you can help me here I'm stumped.
I have tried installing the server components for SQL backup Pro 6 onto my Windows Server 2008 x64 Enterprise instance using an account with admin credentials via the GUI with no luck.
I can however install the backup agent directly onto the machine using the SQBServerSetup.exe file. Activation of the license works ok.
Now when I run a backup or a restore the service bombs unexpectedly.
I reviewed the event log and got the following
Faulting application name: SQBCoreService.exe, version: 6.2.0.134, time stamp: 0x2a425e19
