Disabling/Removing Snippets

How does one disable or remove snippets?

I do not want them suggested while typing.

    I should clarify, I know how to delete snippets.

    I would rather keep them around but have the option of excluding them from prompts.

    This has already been added to our list of requested features with reference SP-2811. I have added your ticket reference to the issue and have put a watch on it so that I am notified if/when the status of this changes.
