How can we help you today? How can we help you today?

Will there be any updates for this tool?

Hi,

First, I'm not here to complain or demand anything. I'm really just asking.

Reflector was acquired by Red Gate about 1 year ago, and since then the only update I saw was the annoying update check that makes us come to the website to download a dummy new version with another expiration date.

Are there any actual plans for this tool? Like a roadmap, what is Red Gate planning to do? Will it simple maintain the current version and keep the forum?

It is seems to me that acquiring Reflector was just a marketing move to get more visitors to the Red Gate website.

    Hi there,

Yes, there will be an update to .NET Reflector, which will include CLR 4.0 support. This will be available in the free community addition. We'll also use that release to roll out various bug fixes that we'd like to make.

I don't have a delivery date yet unfortunately, so can't say any more than that.

    Many thanks,

    Bart
