Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry into SQL Prompt.
Regarding excel crashing I was, unfortunately, unable to replicate this on my end using the same versions of Prompt, SSMS, and windows 10.
Does Excel perform normally outside of attempting to open in SQL Prompt? I have also provided the Microsoft documentation for excel being unresponsive just in case.

So this continues to happen in Sql Prompt 10.13 and SSMS 19. So when I used the "Open in Excel", the dataset opens in Excel but then I get a prompt asking me to activate office. The thing is we are using an Enterpise license for Excel but if I ever oepn in Excel from SQL Prompt, I am always asked to activate. When I sign in to activate with my credentials - it just hangs . I have to use Task Manager to kill it. Any thoughts?

I recently installed the latest version of Sql Prompt. I noticed that when I use Open In Excel, it prompts me to enter my Office 365 acccount info and when that occurs, Excel just hangs. I haev no recourse but to use Task Manager to kill it. At this point, the Open in Excel function is unuseable. I am using Sql prompt 10.12.5.3 on Win 10 on SSMS 18.12.1. Thoughts?
