Is there way to get an alert if base monitor service is stopped running?

We have a windows base monitor service installed on our server. When it's stopped running for some reason, we wanted to have some kind of alert or notification so we can start service. So, it can start sending our SQL instances data to Database.

    Natively you have these options. So you could code some sort of custom alert or notification.



    Alternatively, you could set it up in a clustered environment for automatic failover to another node.
