Reflector removing itself after running?

I'm running latest reflector.exe that I unpack from a zip file (all files) to a specific directory.

I run Reflector and when it exits a message box pops up indicating "Removing reflector.exe".

I've confirmed that it is a process called "tmpAAE7.exe" entitled "Red Gate's .NET Reflector" that is doing the removing...

Why is it always removing itself now?

    Hi there,

There's no reason your system clock would be set incorrectly is there?

    Thanks,

Aha: that'll be why. If you set it forward too far Reflector will think it's expired and then go and remove itself.

    Apologies for the hassle.

    Thanks,

Actually, it was set to January 2009 - so, not in the future, the past.

Hmm, interesting. It's possible that it doesn't like the clock being set to a time earlier than its build date or something like that. This isn't something we've encountered before though so it might be worth downloading again from http://reflector.red-gate.com just to be absolutely sure you have the latest version.

    Thanks,
