Hi @tyler_lee
Redgate Platform features for SQL Prompt are currently only available for users with a subscription license for SQL Toolbelt Essentials - Could you confirm if you have a SQL Toolbelt Essentials subscription?
Thanks,
Owen -
I do have SQL Toolbelt Essentials, but not sure how to tell if it is subscription model. We paid for 3 year license so it may not be under the subscription based model yet. I know Red-Gate was migrating to that from an email I received a while back.

Hi @tyler_lee
I believe your license is perpetual rather than subscription and therefore doesn't have the current Redgate Platform entitlements for SQL Prompt.
If you'd like to switch to a subscription license, please contact sales@red-gate.com or your account manager directly.
Thanks,
Owen -
Thanks I'll get with sales and see what needs to happen to move our licenses.

Hi @ostandage
I have a SQL Toolbelt Essentials (Desktop tools) license and I'm not able to see the option to connect to Redgate Platform in SQL Prompt menu. Can you help me?

From the log message you have included, it looks like you don't have a SQL Toolbelt Essentials subscription licence. If you think you should have a subscription license, please contact support@red-gate.com and they will help you out further.

We are experiencing the same problem. The difference is that we have SQL Prompt Professional subscriptions. The strange thing is that one computer has access to the platform, while the other two do not.
