SQL Search and Azure Databases

When I am connected to an Azure SQL database in an Azure elastic pool, I don't see any databases to search in.

Is there a way to use SQL Search with Azure databases?

    Hi @dasharp thank you for your post. 

    SQL Search should work with Azure SQL DBs and VMs. However, connections using Azure Active Directory - Universal with MFA is not supported.

    Is this on the roadmap? My company is now requiring MFA.

    It is not currently on the Roadmap for SQL Search I'm afraid. SQL Search receives updates occasionally for bug fixes but there are not yet plans to introduce new features like MFA to SQL Search.

    Please consider putting this on the roadmap.  I've happily used RedGate tools for years, but without supporting Azure MFA, my team cannot adopt the products.

    I'm currently using SQL Search on Azure with MFA connections via SSMS & VS so I assume this support has been added. It does seem to be restricted to a single DB for any particular connection, so isn't perfect, but it's something at least.
