Hi,
Any monitoring issues will be highlighted on the "Overview" tab in the Dashboard.
There are also alerts that will trigger if monitoring stops, for example:
https://documentation.red-gate.com/sm/metrics-alerts-and-notifications/metrics-and-alerts-reference/list-of-alerts#Listofalerts-Monitoringstopped(SQLservercredentials)
https://documentation.red-gate.com/sm/metrics-alerts-and-notifications/metrics-and-alerts-reference/list-of-alerts#Listofalerts-Monitoringerror(hostmachinedatacollection)
I hope this helps

Thanks Sergio for your response, my concern is on any maintenance day if i go and suspend monitoring on a SQL server to avoid paging from that server and I forget to go back and enable monitoring on that server after the maintenance is complete.
does SQL monitor has ability to send alerts to DBA's like provide a list of any suspended monitor next day for DBA to review and make sure the servers are all good and monitored. -
SQL Monitor does not provide such a list, however, the server will be identified as suspended on the "Overview" and "Monitored Servers" page.
You can also schedule a "maintenance window" in which case the server will come out of maintenance automatically when the scheduled maintenance interval ends.
Please see https://documentation.red-gate.com/sm/adding-and-managing-monitored-servers/managing-monitored-servers/suspending-a-monitored-server for more details.
If you would like to suggest any improvements around this area, please post your suggestions on the SQL Monitor Uservoice page at: https://sqlmonitor.uservoice.com/forums/91743-suggestions -
just wanted to check , will you be able schedule a session with me to discuss this?

one of my use case is I wanted to use sql monitor to perform daily DBA checklist to monitor and report any issues from monitored SQL servers.
so I wanted to make sure that SQL monitor is monitoring all my SQL servers first and report\raise alert if any monitoring issues.
