SQL Backup without the GUI

Hello, we still have a couple of windows 2003 servers running some older systems, we want to set up SQL Backup on there but can't use the the latest due to dot net version issues.
I was reading in the  documentation and it say you can do an install without the GUI.
are you limited to just version 10 (one that support dot net 4.5) or can you use the latest version?

    Hi Oraclebhoy,

    Thank you for your post. Version 10.1.9 is the latest version and you can install the SQL Backup server components using the Command line. You would only need .NET Framework 4.7.2 if you were also installing the GUI on the same server.
