Hello Friends,
Do you use either SQL Source Control or SQL Change Automation? If so, our DevOps team would love to talk to you.
What are we researching? We are hoping to
gain a more comprehensive understanding of Redgate customers who work in the
DevOps space - their responsibilities, goals and challenges. We would also like
them to help us test the early concept designs our team are working
on. The designs can be viewed as a basic prototype and aim to present state-based development and migration generation tools in a single product.
What's the research criteria?
At this point, we are particularly interested in talking to customers who use SQL Source Control (state-based deployment) or SQL Change Automation (migration-based deployment), but are interested in exploring a mode of working where developers work on the state model to develop the desired state of the DB, and when they are ready to promote the changes to production they can auto-generate migration scripts to capture the state changes.
What's involved?
We'll have a chat with you about your responsibilities and ask you to help us test the concept for a new Redgate tool.
The chat will be
informal and last no longer than 60 minutes. Ideally, we would
like you to share your screen with us during the session so that we
could see you interact with our prototype.
If you meet the criteria described above and are
interested, please get in touch with the team on research@red-gate.com.
Best wishes,
Roseanna
