I am running version 3.5.0.2590. The Search does nothing, it just says "no search results". I have deleted the files in C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Red Gate\SQLSearch 3\Indexes and re-started SSMS. I also tried re-indexing.

Sometimes issues like this can crop up when there's a mismatch in the DLL SQL Search shares with other Redgate tools. Would you mind running the below installer to upgrade any other tools you may have installed. Should do the trick:
