We've just released SQL Prompt 10.2, which fixes tab reconnection in SSMS 18.5. However, in order to fix this issue, we've unfortunately had to make a breaking change to older versions of SSMS 18. Tabs will no longer reconnect on versions 18.0 through to 18.4 on the latest version of SQL Prompt. To fix the issue, you'll need to update to the latest SSMS.
