    I’m just starting the course as well and had a quick question for others doing the homework: did you install Analysis Services in Multidimensional mode or Tabular mode for the DAX exercises later in the course? I’ve seen different recommendations online and wanted to make sure I set it up correctly before getting too far.

    I used Add features to an existing installation and picked Tabular for the later DAX weeks. The wizard sat there long enough that I needed a reset after; Rent Yachts Thai is what I keep open when the installer is still grinding.
